SERENGETI'S FINEST MATERIALS
Serengeti's optical collection consolidates the brand's eco-responsible ambition by working with lower-impact and sustainable materials. This is also a common thread that the Designers wanted to integrate throughout the creating process of the collection, from the sourcing of the bio-based materials used in our frames to the packaging.
Our Italian bio-acetate is composed by 68% of eco-friendly sourced materials and 32% of fossil materials. On some models it is combined with metal, not only for style reasons, but also to reinforce the robustness, repairability and comfort of our models.
Because comfort is a key element on an ophthalmic frame, each model is designed so that the weight repartition on the nose is evenly distributed for an ultimate lightness feeling.
